Guitarist, composer and multi-instrumentalist DF Michael focuses heavily on the melody on all eleven original compositions, which is really the key ingredient to this project's success.
Strong melody lines and robust musicianship surround each new song on DANCES AND WALKS.
The musical style falls somewhere in between Lounge and Smooth Jazz with flavors of jazz and rock tossed in for rich texture.
Michael plays all guitars, acoustic piano, keyboards and tenor sax and is accompanied by exceptional musicians Mimmo Antonini on drums, Claudio Zanghieri on bass, David Izard on piano and Richie Gajate on percussion.
The killer opening track "Cosmic Love" (featured on both SmoothJazz.Com and SmoothLounge.com Radio) sets the pace for a dynamic listening experience of smooth, cool and chilled nu music by this inspired artist! Highly recommended!
